The Birthday brooches were a range produced by the Exquisite Jewellery Company in Solihull, UK during the 1960's. Now highly sought after, they were hand painted with cold enamel. This is the carnation brooch for October, but any time is a good time to wear this fabulous authentic vintage piece. There are three white carnations trimmed with pink grouped with leaves and buds and held together with the typical Exquisite bow. Dimension is 7cms x 5cms. In very good condition with a firm roll over clasp to the back all set in gold tone metal, with Exquisite mark. Fabulous vintage now over 60 years old.
