For sale is a pair of purple Australian opal doublet and pearl earrings in silver.  The earrings are beautifully hand-crafted and signed by the artist.  The earrings are charmingly "mis-matched" - one opal is round and the other is square.  The opals are a stunning, vivid shade of purple-blue.  They are doublets, created from layering a piece of natural Australian opal over a piece of onyx, adding depth and color to the original opal.  Both the opals and pearls are bezel-set, completely framed in silver. The earring have shepherd's hooks.  These are lovely, artistic earrings with a large presence due to the size and vivid color of the opals. 

The item shows normal wear for a pre-owned piece (light scratches, dings, dents and scuff marks.)
