DATE: Victorian, c.1890

A particularly beautiful antique aquamarine pendant dating from the late Victorian period, circa 1890. The stone is a sublime pale blue colour, with lively fire and flash, and weighs a shade under 19 carats. It's set in a simple yellow gold mount, open backed with split claws. It's offered on a period 9 karat gold chain, and remains in excellent condition 130 years on.
